Your eternal destiny By Dr Pat Francis

I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints." (Ephesians 1:18).

You have an eternal destiny and a glorious inheritance. You are born and is alive for such a time as this. It is exciting and encouraging for you to know that God has a plan for your life.  You were not born as an accident but by God's intent.  There is something powerful in you that is called your "Eternal Destiny".  Before you were in your mother's womb, you were in the heart of God.

Paul describes the Glory of your Eternal Destiny:
1) It is a blessed hope.  Hope is one of the greatest commodities that people are searching for and longing for.  In a world filled with bad news and with superpowers struggling for solutions, hopelessness is a part of the sickness in our world. "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life." (Proverbs 13:12). You have a message of hope: "Jesus Christ is the Savior and Solution of our world."
2) It is a glorious inheritance in you. God works in you to work for you and through you for His good purpose. Your Eternal Destiny will bring glory to God now and forever.
3) It is powerful, mighty, and strong. Your eternal destiny is more powerful than anything the enemy brings in attempt to destroy you.  God's mighty strength is your protection for your sake and for His Kingdom's sake.

You are born and is alive for such a time as this.

Kingdom Declaration:
My Eternal Destiny is more powerful than my enemies.  To God be all the glory.

Read the Bible in One Year: Isaiah 20-22; Ephesians 6.
