Call on God when you need Him By Dr Pat Francis

Call on God when you need Him
"As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him.  They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, 'Jesus, Master, have pity on us!'"  Luke 17:12,13

Who do you call on in times of need?  Some people pride themselves in being 'self-made' with an echo of the song: "I did it my way."  If you are God to yourself then to whom do you call when trouble comes?  In the middle of a crisis; in a sudden accident; in the pain of despair you need God.  Self is not always able.  Friends are not always able.  You need God and He is waiting for your cry for His salvation.

When you cry unto Jesus, the Spirit of God is immediately available to you as an instant Helper, Comforter, Counselor, Teacher, Strengthener, Provider, and Protector.  At the Name of Jesus storms cease and demons flee.  At the Name of Jesus, God assumes control and Satan gets out of control.

Jesus is waiting to forgive your sins. He is waiting to help you if you failed. He is waiting to encourage you into greater greatness.  Call on Jesus today and be saved.

Kingdom Declaration:
Today I confess Jesus Christ as my Savior, Lord, and King.

Read the Bible in One Year: Isaiah 62-64; 1 Tim. 1.
