The Magnificent Glory of God By Dr Pat Francis

"When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?" (Ps. 8:3,4).
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." (Gen. 1:1). The universe with all its magnificent, splendor, and glory was created by God whose name is Elohim, Creator.  The Milky Way has billions of planets each in an exacting position.  Any shifting without divine permission would mean instant catastrophe for all planets and humanity.  This is revelation of God's magnificent glory.
The sun radiates 130,000 horsepower of energy - a few degrees of shifting of its distance from the Earth would make people burn to ashes. The earth, weighing trillions of tons, is tilted at exactly 23 degrees to accommodate seasons and time as we know them.  The Earth has been traveling at a speed faster than the speed of sound for thousands of years yet you feel motionless and stable on its surface.  This is revelation of God's magnificent glory.
Nature is more powerful than people power, military power, and money power as seen in tsunamis, hurricanes, earthquakes, and volcanoes. Yet the greatest manifested glory of God on earth are the people who are created by His glory and for His glory.  God's description of you: you are the apple of His eye; the love of His heart; His dear children; His sons and daughters; and His dearly beloved.  God's glory is in you, "God made you a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned you with glory and honor." (Ps. 8:5).  You are a reflection of God's magnificent glory.
Kingdom Declaration:
God has created me with glory to bring glory to His name on earth.

Read the Bible in One Year: Is. 28-29; Phil. 3.
