Joy Comes in the Morning; July 25.

Joy comes in the morning
"Sing praise to the LORD, you saints of His, and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy name. 5 For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." Psalm 30:4-5.

Peter and his fishing partners had fished all night and caught no fishes.  In the morning they were discouraged and packing up to go home when Jesus came on the scene.  They were washing their nets and Jesus came to them and asked them to take Him out on the water a little from the shore, where he would teach the people for a while.

When Jesus had finished teaching He told Peter to let down his nets for a catch.  Peter politely said, "Master, we've worked hard all night and haven't caught anything.  But because you say so, I will let down the nets." Luke 5:5. They obeyed Jesus, let down their nets in the deep part of the lake and they caught a large number of fish.  Seasons of weeping is not forever, after winter comes the spring.

When you are going through painful experiences, when the challenges seem great, remember that always after the night comes the dawn.  Never lose hope in the night.  God does not sleep in the night; He's on the midnight shift working on your behalf.  Wait patiently, have hope, and keep listening for His instructions for joy comes in the morning!

Kingdom Declaration:
The LORD is my light and salvation.  His joy is my strength for today.
