Jesus Loves you(July 12)

Jesus loves you
"Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.'  And they divided up his clothes by casting lots."  Luke 23:34.

The last words of a dying person usually reflect their attitude of heart and lifestyle.  General William Booth, the founder of the Salvation Army, was to be the keynote speaker at his international convention.  He became ill and could not attend so he dictated a one-word telegram that would be his last sermon.  His final message was this: "Others!"

Jesus' final message as He was dying on the cross was a prayer for 'others', including you and me.  He prayed for our forgiveness.  The heart of God is love, mercy and forgiveness.   God loves the world and that includes you.  Do not allow guilt or fear to destroy your confidence in God's love.  Jesus came to Earth so that you could go to heaven.  He died so that you could have eternal life.  He was nailed to the cross so that you might go free.  His final message to the world was, "I forgive you."

Today be free and rest in His amazing grace and His unchanging love.

Kingdom Declaration:
Nothing and no one can separate me from the love of Jesus Christ.
