Who is your Saviour(July 15)

Who is your Saviour
"Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:11.

The world's philosophy is that we should look to ourselves, money, and other people as 'Saviors'.  I read the story of a soldier in Napoleon's army who was mortally wounded in battle.  As he lay dying in his tent the hero he worshipped, lived for, and would now die for, came into his tent.  The officer thought for sure that his mighty leader could save his life but sadly Napoleon shook his head and turned away from the side of the dying man.  The book describes the tragic scene:  "As the dying man felt the cold, merciless hand of death drawing him irresistibly behind the curtain of the unseen world, he was still heard to shriek out, 'Save me, Napoleon!  Save me!'"  In the hour of death the soldier discovered that Napoleon could not save him.

Who is your Savior?  Who will be there to save you when you enter into eternal life?  "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved - you and your household." As Jesus walked the earth people who recognized Him as Jesus, son of David, Messiah, Savior, received His gift of salvation and miracles.

"As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, "Have mercy on us, Son of David!" Matthew 9:27; they were healed.  A desperate mother: "A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from demon-possession." Matthew 15:22; her daughter was healed.

God's gift of salvation to you includes: forgiveness, freedom from guilt, health and healing, help for your family, blessings in your career or business, blessed relationships and an eternal home with Jesus, your Savior.  Pray now and ask Jesus to be your personal Savior and Lord; believe in Him and you will be saved.  He died to save you and He is alive to save you forever.

Kingdom Declaration:
Jesus Christ is my Savior, my LORD and King of Glory.
