For the battle is not your's but God's
"Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God's." 2 Chronicles 20:15.
One of the weapons the enemy uses in our lives is intimidation. Satan likes us to overestimate his power and to undermine the greatness of the power of God that is in us, with us, and for us. God's encouragement to you today is: "Do not be overwhelmed by the magnitude of your challenge, but instead remember the awesome greatness of your God". Gideon destroyed a great army with only a few men. Moses toppled Pharaoh's kingdom in Egypt by himself without an army.
In your battle, it's not about:
1) The number of people that are with or against you. God alone can take care of you. Your trust in God brings His power and a vast army of angels as your helpers in your battle.
2) The power of people or forces against you. God is all-powerful. Enemies can be mighty but they are still limited; only God is Almighty and Greater than all powers in heaven and on Earth. God is El CHAYIL, our LORD Almighty King of Glory.
When you pray to God, you invite Him into your battles and He becomes the Commander and Chief, mighty in battle, with His host of angels to fight for you. The battle becomes His and your enemies become His enemies. Pray, believe, and let go and let God become your Commander in your battles. Then the battle will no longer be yours, but God's.
Kingdom Declaration:
My God will fight with me and for me to give me the victory for His Name sake.
