"A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the son of David, the son of Abraham:" (Matt. 1:1).
When you believe in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and LORD you receive the Covenant Blessing of Abraham, and the Covenant Glory of David.
1) The Covenant Blessing of Abraham
Abraham is the great patriarch of Israel and Christians: "He is the father of us all" (Rom. 4:16). By faith all believers in Christ are joint-heirs with Jesus and recipients of the covenant blessing of Abraham that includes God's protection, abundant provision, miracles, and great influence. "He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit." (Gal. 3:14).
2) The Covenant Glory of David
David was a man with great manifested glory in his life, "Through the victories you gave, his glory is great; you have bestowed on him splendor and majesty." (Ps. 21:5). The Hebrew word that describes David's glory as great is CHAYIL. The CHAYIL glory of David included victories, splendor (brilliance, wisdom, favor) and majesty (authority, wealth, influence) is a glory that available to all believers in Christ. "Give ear and come to me; hear me, that your soul may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David. See, I have made him a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander of the peoples." Is. 55:3,4.
David was a witness of the faithful love, forgiveness, and CHAYIL glory of God in His life. God protected and provided for His faithful servant and king. He was forgiven from adultery and murder, he was protected through great battles, and he was an overcomer from poverty as a homeless man living in a cave. Now YOU. Christ in you is the hope of glory waiting to manifest in and through you for His name sake. (Col. 1:27). CHAYIL Glory is the manifested power and glory of the LORD Jesus in and through His servants. Believe, receive, declare it and God will confirm His great covenant glory through you.
Kingdom Declaration:
Father glorify me to bring great glory to your Son and my Savior Jesus Christ.
