Faith in the midst of the storm (June 2nd)

"That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, "Let us go over to the other side."   Mark 4:35.
The Word of the LORD was given, "Let us go over to the other side."  Jesus was in the boat with His disciples. They stepped out by faith in calm waters, when suddenly a furious storm came up that almost destroyed them.  Sometimes when we step into new territories with an exciting goal ahead and a passionate and devoted team, we can be hit with an unexpected storm of life.
When you are in the middle of a storm remember:
1) Do not lose your integrity.  Keep doing what is right in spite of how you feel and what others might be saying.  Regardless of others reaction, keep your integrity by thinking, saying, and doing the right things.
2) Do not lose your hope.  Keep the promise (Word of the LORD) of Jesus in the forefront of your mind.  Say it and rehearse it: "We are going over to the other side."
3)  Exalt and Praise God in the midst of the storm.  God is greater than the storm.  God is stronger than the winds.  Praise God and create an atmosphere for His host of angels to rescue you.
The LORD your God is with you in your boat, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." Isaiah 43:2.  You will go over to the other side.  He is with you and is waiting for you there.
Kingdom Declaration:
The Lord is my Shepherd and He will be with me to the finish line.
