DAVID DE GEA LATEST
Contrary to reports, it is our understanding that Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has not been sent home from Euro 2016.
Reports circulating this afternoon claim the Spanish goalkeeper, along with two of his teammates, has been sent home by the national team, but we understand he is still with the Spain squad at their team hotel.
We will bring you more on this story as soon as we get it.

PLATINI WILL NOT BE AT EUROS
From our chief news reporter Kaveh Solhekol in Paris..
"Michel Platini will not be at the opening Euro 2016 game this evening. Even at this late stage, UEFA are still discussing whether they should invite their suspended president to the opening ceremony, but a source close to Platini has told us he will not be at the game tonight at the Stade de France. He has no plan to attend any game of the competition.
"Platini was instrumental in bringing the European Championship back to France but has been suspended from football for four years for accepting a £1.3m payment authorised by disgraced former FIFA president Sepp Blatter.
"On Wednesday, FIFA's ethics committee advised UEFA that Platini could attend games only in a personal capacity. He is not allowed to carry out any official functions."
