"For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he demotes one, and exalts another." Ps. 75:6-7.
God will promote you, display you, and make your name known for your sake and for His sake. God promoted Daniel in Babylon and he became the second most powerful man of influence because the Glory of God was seen in and through Him. His life was a testimony that proved that the God of Abraham was greater than the gods of Babylon. King Nebuchadnezzar said, "To the peoples, nations and men of every language, who live in all the world: May you prosper greatly! 2 It is my pleasure to tell you about the miraculous signs and wonders that the Most High God has performed for me." Daniel 4:1-2.
In Babylon, Daniel and the Hebrew slaves suffered much persecution and sometimes torture. Daniel was viciously attacked by competitors in the workplace; persecuted for his faith; thrown into a den of lions; and his friends thrown into a furnace of roaring fire. Nevertheless, God gave His servants wisdom and honor to deal with kings and their enemies. God's Glory preserved them in spiritual warfare and promoted them in spite all opposition. "Then the king placed Daniel in a high position and lavished many gifts on him. He made him ruler over the entire province of Babylon and placed him in charge of all its wise men." Daniel 2:48. God is greater than all that you may be facing in your life and workplace. God will glorify you to bring Him glory on earth. Your testimony is for His glory.
