Faith is more powerful than fear

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Is. 41:10.

God is encouraging you to turn your fear into faith.  Fear can be described as a distressing emotion because it comes with potential danger, pain, evil, negative consequences.  Fear is a powerful emotion whether it is real or imagined.  Faith on the other hand is described as confident trust in a person or thing.  It is based on the character of the person you put your trust in.  When you trust in God, you are trusting in His character, power, and reputation to defend and provide for you.

A nine-year old boy was taking his first airline flight when the airplane flew into a severe thunderstorm.  He was terribly frightened.  Looking at a man sitting beside him, he said, "Aren't you afraid?"  The man could see how the boy was feeling.  "No," he said with a wide grin.  "This is really fun."  Immediately the boy's face changed.  Fear and tension left him.  He, too, began to have fun.  It was like a roller coaster ride.  You can turn your fear into faith by being sure of the outcome.  God has promised you victory.

If you are going through a storm, remember that it is not permanent.  Maintain an attitude of faith. God's promises to you are: 1) Do not fear (God will protect you). 2) I AM with you (your pilot is in control).  3) Do not be dismayed (God is God even in a storm).  4) I will strengthen you and help you (you will not fall under the pressure).  5) I will uphold you with my righteous right hand (God is holding you. You are safe in His arms).

Kingdom Declaration:
The Lord is my strength and the stronghold of my life. I will not fear.
