That’s how Jesus lived on earth. He didn’t live for Himself or seek to do His own will. He lived to do the will of His Father and poured out His life for others.
Jesus said, “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends” (John 15:12-13).
