God's grace is there for you

"You will live by the sword and you will serve your brother.  But when you grow restless, you will throw his yoke from off your neck."  (Genesis 27:40).

Esau made some great mistakes in his life.  In a moment of intense hunger, he recklessly sold his birthright, blessing, and honor to his manipulative brother, Jacob.  His privilege as the firstborn included: a double portion of inheritance from his father; official authority in the family over all major decisions; representative of the family for all grand social activities; and to be the priest and spiritual overseer of the family.

Esau suffered greatly because of his choices, but God was merciful.  In Esau's dilemma, God gave him hope for the possibility to build a good life when he was ready for CHANGE and to activate his power of CHOICE, 'But when you grow restless, you will throw his yoke from off your neck'.  The word "yoke" is symbolic of bondage, frustration, punishment, guilt, limited movement and hopelessness.

Grace can be described as clemency, reprieve, forgiveness, and unmerited favor.  By grace you were saved and by grace you are being saved every day.  In every circumstance receive God's unfailing love for you and remember that His mercy towards you is new every morning.

Kingdom Declaration:
God's grace, forgiveness, and mercy for me are new every morning.
