"For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Eph. 2:10.
The word 'workmanship' means the degree of skill with which a product is made or a job done. To be God's workmanship means that you are made to be YOU, and with all that you need to fulfill your destiny. As God's workmanship He has promised to: 'make your load lighter' (Ex. 18:22); make you fruitful (Gen. 17:6); make you increase (Gen. 28;3); 'make you prosper' (Gen. 32:9); 'make all your enemies turn their backs and run (Ex. 23:27); and to 'make you great' (Ps. 18:35).
French scientist Louis Pasteur was born to have influence in the sphere of health, and medicine. The timing of his life was strategically decided by God. Purpose is connected to timing and training so he lived at a time when thousands of people died of rabies each year. He worked day and night on a vaccine that could save them. Just as he was about to begin experimenting on himself, a nine-year old boy called Joseph Meister was bitten by a rabid dog. The boy's mother begged Pasteur to experiment on her son. Pasteur injected him for ten days and the boy lived. Decades later, of all the things that Pasteur could have etched on his headstone, he asked only for three words: "Joseph Meister Lived!" Louis Pasteur was gifted by God with all the gifts and preservation to be a great scientist.
You are needed in our world. God has made you a unique representative of Himself. Created in His image and likeness you are blessed to be fruitful, productive, and prosperous. You are God's workmanship. He is proud of you.
Kingdom Declaration:
I am created by God as His workmanship, and therefore He will make me fruitful.
