Be your best

Be your best

"Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place." 2 Cor. 2:14.

Life is not always fair, bad things happen to good people. There are no reasons nor formula for the unavoidable and uncontrollable experiences that we sometimes face. What we can control, however, is our attitude and determination to outlive and outlast our enemies.

Sometimes God allows us to go through circumstances for the opportunity to qualify us for the "Overcomers Hall of Fame." Albert Einstein was written off by his educators as a slow learner and mentally challenged; Joni Erickson, a quadriplegic, became a radio host, author, artist and powerful motivational speaker; John Bunyan, author of Pilgrim's Progress, was imprisoned because of his passionate faith; Franklin Roosevelt, the 32nd President of America contracted polio and was paralyzed for the rest of his life. He was the only President in a wheel chair and elected for more than two terms. Helen Keller, at the age of 19 months, suddenly lost her hearing and vision. Against overwhelming odds and with passion and persistence she graduated college with highest honors and impacted her world. We cannot always control our circumstances but we can do what we can, use what we have, and be the best that we can. The power is "choice".

See life as a gift and negatives as opportunities to overcome and to prove that God in you is greater than whatever, whomever and wherever. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ rise upon as you take care of yourself, serve God, and be your best in your world.

Kingdom Declaration:
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
