"For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless." Ps. 84:11.
First, "The Lord God is a sun and shield." He gives light, warmth, energy, and strength even as He protects and defends you. As sun, He lights your way; and as shield, He protects your path. As sun, He energizes you; and as shield, He protects you from 'burn out'. As sun, He protects you from the dark; and as shield, He preserves you from evil.
Second, "The LORD bestows favor and honor". Favor is the grace of God that opens door, brings opportunities, and releases goodwill and kindness, even when you feel like you don't deserve it. Honor is God's exaltation in your life to prove His presence and power in and through you. "Therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy." Ps. 45:7.
Third, "No good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless." God promises you everything that you need and all that is good for you. As His light, protection, grace and exaltation works in and through you, you are guaranteed His provision and blessing in every area. Begin to thank Him in advance as He brings every good thing that you need. Be thankful for His loving care and protection today and forever.

I thank God for his light, protection, and guaranteed blessings in every area of my life.
