"Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat, But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers." Luke 22:31-32.
What an encouragement to know that God is aware of everything in your life before it happens. God knows all about your past, He is with you now presently and knows all about your future. That is why you can trust Him with your life and be confident in His keeping power.
When you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord, He goes before you to prepare your way, light your path, and preserve your destiny. God is so confident in His keeping power and control of your future that He warned Peter about his failure and restoration at the same time. Peter in spite of his failure would play a major role in the developing and establishing the Church of Jesus Christ. If God is in control of your life, He has already made allowances for your mistakes so don't be afraid to try again. Learn from your mistakes and get back in the game of life.
God has already gone ahead of you and touched the heart of those you have failed. Forgive those who failed you and go forward. In every area of life, before you get there, God is already there. Peter became one of the great Foundational Apostles who were used by God to establish His Church. He wrote books of the Bible that have been used by billions of people for hope, encouragement, and assurance that it is never too late for another chance in life. Remember that God is with you, for you and goes before you.
Kingdom Declaration:
I am confident that my God is with me, for me and goes before me to make all crooked paths straight.
