"Then Jesus answered, 'Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.' And her daughter was healed from that very hour." Matthew 15:28.
A desperate woman came before Jesus, crying, begging and pleading to Jesus for help for her daughter who was demonized, tormented, and being destroyed by evil powers. As a mother, her daughter's agony was also hers; her suffering was also hers but she went to Jesus with undaunted faith. He was her hope and sure salvation.
She was a Canaanite woman who lived with prejudice and victimization, but on that day nothing would distract her from her goal. The fear of man, people's opinions, racial slurs, or her own emotional pain would not stop her from receiving from Jesus the healing for her child. Her daughter's future rested upon her faith, humility, wisdom and perseverance.
Jesus tested her spirit of faith, her confession of faith, and her belief in the power of faith. She passed. "Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted." And her daughter was healed from that very hour." Matthews 15:28. Sometimes our faith is the key to another person's deliverance. A parent's faith is powerful for the deliverance of children. Undaunted faith, fighting faith, and persevering faith will lay hold of the promises of God for your family. "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved - you and your household." Acts 16:31.
Kingdom Declaration:
I believe and confess that my household shall be saved.
