The LORD is your Helper(September 14)

The LORD is your Helper
"The LORD is with me; he is my helper. I will look in triumph on my enemies." Psalm 118:7.

God is your Protector, Provider, and Helper.  Your Helper is always with you and you will hear His voice now more than ever before.  He is your present Helper, future Helper, and eternal Helper.  He promises to never leave nor forsake you.

His help is not only when you get in trouble, but as your Omniscient Helper, His provision is there before you get there.  One of the descriptions of God is El Roi, the God who sees us in our distress and is there waiting before we get there with protection, provision, and help. Satan's schemes and plans are all known by God who has already put a plan in place to counteract and frustrate him, and gain glory through your victories.

In your trials know:
1) God is never surprised.  Your Helper has already gone ahead of you with protection, provision, and victory.  This scheme was only allowed to make your glory increase. David wrote, "Through the victories you gave, his glory is great; you have bestowed on him splendor and majesty." Psalm 21:5. This is the progression: battles then victories; then greater glory; then you receive splendor and majesty.  If you are in a great battle, you can expect great glory.  God's plan for you is that you grow in His ever-increasing glory.

2) Provision shall be seen.  Declare it, expect it, and look for it.  When Hagar was in distress in her wilderness thinking her son would die, God had a well prepared for their provision.  In her distress she was ready to give up, but God heard the boy crying and remembered Abraham's prayers and provided for their son.

3) Prepare for greater glory.  Learn from David's experience as he wrote: "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever." Psalm 23:5-6.

Kingdom Declaration:
In the midst of a trial, I will not fear because the LORD Almighty is my Helper, Protector and Provider
