For over twenty years, the YMCA of Greater Saint John Newcomer Connections Centre has welcomed newcomers to the Greater Saint John community. As a leading community organization, Y Newcomer Connections assists immigrants and refugees with their settlement needs and helps to facilitate their integration and participation in the community. position overview Reporting to the Language Supervisor, the Language Instructor pro- vides assistance, practical guidance, and community referrals to new- comer clients at Newcomer Connections. The Language Instructor provides English language training to adult learners who are assessed using Canadian Language Benchmarks. This part time contract posi- tion, subject to annual renewal. duties
