You Will Succeed

"Hezekiah trusted in the Lord, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before him or after him. He held fast to the Lord and did not cease to follow him; he kept the commands the Lord had given Moses. And the Lord was with him; he was successful in whatever he undertook." 2 Kings 18: 5-7.

Success is one of the greatest of human pursuits. Success is defined by Webster's Dictionary as: "a favorable or desired outcome; the attainment of wealth, favor or eminence.
" John Maxwell describes success as: "The progressive realization of a predetermined goal". Success is progressive and includes the will and determination to never give up. God gives us the principles of success:
1) Trust in the Lord. God is the Author of our dreams and will work in and through us to the finish line.
 2) Hold fast to the Lord. David held fast to the Lord even, 'in the valley of the shadow of death.' In the good times and in the bad times let us hold fast to the Lord. Pray, read His Word and praise Him.
3) Obey God's Word. Let God's Word be your plumb line for everything that you do as you create and rule your world. When God's word triumphs over our feelings the power of negative in our lives will be diminished.
4)  Be confident. God has given you His word: "The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." Deuteronomy 31:8. God is with you with His continued guidance, protection, and provision. You will succeed because of double power: God's power and your power of faith."Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed." Proverb 16:3.

Kingdom Declaration: The LORD is my strength and shield. He gives me success and guarantees my protection.
