Practice A Positive Attitude

"Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe as you hold out the word of life." Philippians 2:14-16.

God wants you to shine like a star in a dark world. Sometimes darkness finds us in the work place, at school, at home, at a hospital. We have to make a choice to protect our hearts from the darkness of our environment.

We cannot always change our circumstances when we want to but we can guard our hearts. Tips on guarding your heart:
 1) Have faith in God and in yourself. Bad news is an opportunity to prove the power of God. Miracles are still possible. God will receive glory from your negative circumstances.
2) Practice a positive attitude. Refuse to be moved into an attitude of murmuring, grumbling, and complaining.
 3) Keep God on the throne of your heart. Do not allow circumstances to rule your heart. God will preserve you as He did before for His faithful believers.
4) Share your news only with trusted, positive friends who are solutionists. They will encourage and motivate you into positive actions. You don't need mourners with you in bad times but creators.
5) Rule your world as you create and control your atmospheres.
 6) Be thankful. Bad news is not the end result but just information for you to make changes to create a different result. Thank God for exposing an area for growth, changes, and new opportunities. "Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

Kingdom Declaration: I thank God that He is in control of my life. I am not vulnerable. I am protected.
