I need a word

Have you ever heard "booked and busy"? It's a colloquialism used in this generation to let people know we are working and have a lot of things going on BUT what if being "booked and busy" keeps you from sitting at the feet of Jesus. That's where Martha finds herself in Luke 10:38-42. Martha was busy making preparations that she missed an opportunity to be a the feet of Jesus. Her sister Mary the Bible says, sat at the Lord's feet listening to what He said. Martha complained to Jesus about her sister, Mary not helping and Jesus responded that Mary chose what is better. (To be at His feet, not distracted by preparation.) What we can learn from this scripture is: Don't let distractions keep you from your relationship with God. Abiding is a lifestyle.
