Give and it will be given to you

"Give, and it will be given to you.  A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.  For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."  (Luke 6:38).

Jesus taught His disciples how to start the cycle of blessing and harvest in their lives. Simply, 'Give'.  Giving creates a cycle of sowing and reaping with unending ripple effects. What you give becomes a seed for harvest; a hope for continuous supply; and a taste of generosity.

Seed on a shelf can never grow harvest.  Money in your pocket can never bring a return.  When a seed is sown, power within the seed is released that causes it to grow, multiply, and bring in a harvest.  The ability to give is power. It is powerful to be able to give love, mercy, money, encouragement, and forgiveness to others.

When you have something that someone else needs, that is power; but until you give it away it is only dormant, useless power until activated. Giving is powerful.  Hoarding is wasted power and creates bondage. Give as you would like to receive and step into your world of continuous supply. "But just as you excel in everything - in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us - see that you also excel in this grace of giving."
(2 Cor. 8:7).

Kingdom Declaration:
I live to give, I learn to love, and I have tapped into God's continuous abundant supply.
