Faith for the family

Faith for the family

"Then Jesus answered, 'Woman, you have great faith!  Your request is granted.'  And her daughter was healed from that very hour."  Matt. 15:28. A desperate woman came before Jesus crying, begging, and pleading to Jesus for help for her daughter who was demonized, tormented, and being destroyed by evil powers.

As a mother, her daughter's agony was also hers; her suffering was also hers and she went to Jesus with undaunted faith.  He was her hope and sure salvation.  She was a Canaanite woman who lived with prejudice and victimization, but on that day, nothing could distract her from her goal. The fear of man, people's opinions, racial slurs, or her own emotional pain would not stop her from receiving from Jesus the healing for her child.  Her daughter's future rested upon her faith, humility, wisdom and perseverance.  Jesus tested her spirit of faith, her confession of faith, and her belief in His Power.  She passed all tests including the test of humility.

"Then Jesus answered, "Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted." And her daughter was healed from that very hour."  (Matt. 15:28). Our faith can be the key to another person's deliverance.  A parent's faith is powerful for the deliverance of family.  By undaunted faith, fighting faith, and persevering faith you can lay hold of the promises of God for your family. "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved - you and your household." (Acts 16:31).  Believe now.

Kingdom Declaration:
I believe and confess that my household shall be saved. Read the Bible in One Year: Proverbs 19-21; 2 Corinthians 7.
