Your way, walk, work By Dr Pat Francis

"Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth.  The sluggard craves and gets nothing, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied." (Prov. 10:4; 13:4).

Webster's dictionary defines the word 'diligent' as "constant in effort to accomplish what is undertaken; attentive; industrious; done with painstaking care and perseverance." A diligent person is a hard worker and is an asset to their employer because of excellent work ethics. Diligence is a function of character and a reflection of who you are and how you think.

If you think positively then you would reflect that by your way, your walkand your work.   Your way of doing things would be to give it your best effort every time. Your walk would reflect an excellent lifestyle.  Your workwould have its mark of positive achievement. As a result, your hand will be made rich, your desires fully satisfied, and your accomplishment greatly rewarded.

Every day has 24 hours with opportunities to grow, work, serve, and achieve.  Refuse to be lazy and refuse to waste time.  See time as God's gift to you and make use of the opportunity to live diligently for Him.  Even if others do not always notice your effort, God who sees and knows all shall be the Source of your rewards.  Work towards a successful life, significance, and satisfaction and God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory.

Kingdom Declaration:
The grace of CHAYIL is excellence.  I have an excellent spirit and it reflects in my way, walk, and work.

Read the Bible in One Year: Ezekiel 14-15; James 2.
