Be contented

"But godliness with contentment is great gain.  For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it." (1 Tim. 6:6,7).

Our priorities in life are very important.  We are told to possess our possessions but never to allow our possessions to possess us. God must be the center of our lives and then everything else will have its true perspective and position of importance.

I read this story: "One day Abraham Lincoln was walking along a street in his home town with his two small sons, both of whom were crying profusely. A neighbor stopped and enquired, 'What's the matter with the boys?'  Lincoln replied, "Just the same as what's the matter with the whole world.  I've got three walnuts and each of the boys wants two."

Contentment is a sign of maturity and good spirituality.  Keep your lives free from greed, envy, and passions that drives you into discontent regardless of what you have. With God as your Source be confident of daily provision, abundant blessing, and a bright future.  Dream, create, work hard, live well, and rule your world in confidence and contentment. Enjoy life now, serve God, and live for eternal legacy in your eternal home with God.

Kingdom Declaration:
I rule my heart with gratefulness, contentment, and peace.
