Day 17 - Relationship E-Series Feelings vs. Faith

Day 17 - Relationship E-Series
Feelings vs. Faith
“Faith is what pleases God, not how guilty you feel over the sin.” – Kenneth Copeland

Hello, relationships can be a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings. The highs are high and the lows can just be so low. However, your  with God is not based on your feelings, it’s based on your faith.

Let’s review… As a child of God, you have right standing with God. He wants you to know He loves you with the same love with which He loves Jesus. He wants the very best for you in every area of your life, including your relationships with others.
Often times feelings are misleading. They can take you to a place of developing a poor self-image and becoming stuck in destructive relationships. However, as a believer you are looking to God and desire to please Him. The standards of a non-believer, or someone who has taken their eyes off Jesus, will be different. Their desires will not be to please God,but to satisfy their own lusts and longings, seeking momentary pleasures of the flesh and a lifestyle of getting, not giving.
Hello, you, on the other hand, violate your conscience and become miserable when you become involved in such things. If you find yourself in an unhealthy relationship, please don't stay there. You can get help for yourself and your friend by allowing your pastor or some other godly adult to counsel you. God will help you move from a destructive  into a wholesome, healthy one.

Watch today’s video prayerfully with your specific vision relationship in mind.  Ask the Lord for wisdom according to James 1:5 and believe you receive the steps you need to take as it pertains to your relationship.

Remember there are no shortcuts when it comes to your relationship, but there is Jesus and He is all you need.

Hebrews 4:15 says, “For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning”(AMPC).

Continue to follow Him and remember JESUS IS LORD!
