The grace of King David

"Josiah was eight years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem thirty-one years.  He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord and walked in the ways of his father David, not turning aside to the right or to the left."  (2 Chron. 34:1,2).

Josiah's biological father was an evil King.  After his death the little boy of eight years old inherited the throne and made some choices that developed his character and great destiny.

1) He chose David as his mentor and role model.
2) He chose to embrace and believe for the grace and glory that manifested in
    King  David.
3) He chose to live by the principles of King David.

This wise boy could not alter his physical DNA, but he could embrace the Divine Nature of God he saw in King David who served God as His Shepherd, and became a great king and shepherd of the people he served.  David was a servant of God and a servant of his people.  He was a great king. The God who fathered David would now father little King Josiah.

God is always waiting to Father those who believe in Him. Jesus Christ named Himself: "The Root and Offspring of David", (Rev. 22:16).  Today, like King Josiah, you too can be fathered by the God of David as you chose to grow like Jesus in the CHAYIL Pillars of worship, wisdom, power, honor, favor, wealth and influence. "And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." Luke 2:52. So can you.

Kingdom Dynamics:
I will walk in the manifested grace of CHAYIL, the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Read the Bible in One Year: Micah 1-3; Revelation 11.
