God remains our Comfort

"Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion.  For the Lord is a God of justice.  Blessed are all who wait for him!"  (Is. 30:18).

In times of trial God remains our comfort and His word remains our foundation.  Our faith is built on a solid rock that is not determined by earth's predictions, global issues, or family trials.  "On Christ the solid rock we stand and all other ground is sinking sand."

"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever." (Heb. 13:8). His promises are forever sure and secure:
1) He is gracious to you.  You have found favor with God.  He is with you and preserving you.  He is your strength when you feel weak; your hope when you feel fear; your peace in a storm.
2) He shows you compassion.  God's mercy is new every morning.  His thoughts are loving and merciful towards you. Even when you fail He pleads His blood for your forgiveness.
3) He is a just God. He sees and knows the circumstance that you face and will give you victory over all your enemies. He is greater than all your mountains and more powerful than all your storms.
4) Blessed are those who wait on the Lord. God is never late.  God is always on time.  Your miracle is on its way.  Though there is a delay, there is no denial.  Wait patiently for the Lord your King.
