The Manifested Glory of God(September 27)

The Manifested Glory of God
"Elijah went before the people and said, "How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him." But the people said nothing." 1 Kings 18:21.

Elijah was one of the greatest prophets that ever lived.  He preached and encouraged the Israelis and priests to turn their hearts back to God. He operated with manifested CHAYIL Glory (power and influence) and with great confidence: "Now Elijah the Tishbite, from Tishbe in Gilead, said to Ahab, "As the LORD, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word." 1 Kings 17:1.

The key to Elijah's confidence:
1)  He knew His God. "But the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits." Daniel 11:32. He didn't just know about God but he knew God in strong relationship.
2)  He was confident in God's protection. His life was threatened by Kings because of his message of revival but he showed his servant the glory that was around him.  Elisha prayed: "O LORD, open his eyes so he may see." Then the LORD opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha."
3)  He knew his purpose.  He challenged the Priestess Jezebel with her satanic power and God manifested His glory in Israel: "When all the people saw this, they fell prostrate and cried, "The LORD - he is God! The LORD - he is God!" 1 Kings 18:39.  God gains glory on Earth through faithful servants who believe in Him and seek to serve Him for His manifested glory.

The Bible declares: "All mankind will SEE God's salvation.'" Luke 3:6; "The glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and ALL flesh shall SEE it together; For the mouth of the LORD has spoken." Isaiah 40:5. CHAYIL Gloryis the manifested power and glory of our LORD Jesus Christ in and through His servants. Heaven is filled with God's Glory.  Now the earth shall also be filled with His glory, "Christ in you, the hope of glory." Colossians 1:27. Pray, believe, and receive fresh glory to manifest God's glory on earth.

Kingdom Declaration:
The Glory of the LORD is rising upon me to bring glory to the name of Jesus Christ.
