There is Power in the Blood of Jesus

“Then he showed me Joshua the High Priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right side to accuse him.” (Zech. 3:1).

The name Satan means adversary and the name Devil means accuser or slanderer. His name describes his nature, purpose and method of operations.

He accuses people in three ways:
1) Through people. He inspires human accusers to use their voice to share his accusations and deception. He looks for vulnerable vessels to use for his purposes.
2)  In their minds. He shares messages of confusion; brings to remembrances past failures; inspires guilt and condemnation and tries to move us into self-condemnation.  When your own heart condemns you, your battle becomes internalized and self-perpetuating.
3)  Before God. He tries to block our prayers and cause delay.

God has promised, however, that we will overcome all the enemy’s accusations:  “Then I heard a loud voice in Heaven say: "Now have come the salvation and the power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” (Rev. 12:10-11).

The blood of Jesus Christ, your Good Shepherd, is more powerful than all accusations, past failures, guilt and condemnation. Be free.

Kingdom Declaration:
There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Read the Bible in One Year: Proverbs 6,7; 2 Corinthians 2.
