The song of Moses
"And the angels sang the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb: 'Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the ages.'" (Rev. 15:3).
The angels sang the song of Moses, God's chosen deliverer for His people who were under the tyrannical rule and slavery under Pharaoh of Egypt. God uses ordinary people to demonstrate His power to save, deliver, and provide. God's salvation on earth is usually through willing people who hear His word, share in His burden, and trust in His saving grace.
Moses, not only delivered the people from slavery by the power of God, but he also negotiated so that they left a life of slavery with all their family, animals, possessions, and the wealth of the Egyptians.
Today we can also sing a song of deliverance for we too were delivered from the enemies of our soul by the Lamb that was slain, Jesus Christ. "The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29). Jesus took away all our failure and sins. We too celebrate our freedom. We celebrate the songs of praise in heaven and make them our songs of praise on earth.
Kingdom Dynamics:
As the redeemed of the Lord, I sing songs of praise to Jesus my King and Deliverer.
Read the Bible in One Year: Zechariah 9-12; Revelation 20.
