That had to be quite a change in itself, but it was just the beginning of what He endured for you.
He was publicly humiliated, beaten beyond recognition and then executed in a very cruel, painful way for something He didn’t do.
Hanging on the cross He cried, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (Matthew 27:46, MEV). Jesus must have felt traumatic loneliness from the pain and rejection He had just suffered and from the separation from His heavenly Father.
So Tomiwa, He .
The good news is Jesus didn’t stay rejected or alone, and you don’t have to either. He is with you right now, willing and able to help you (Hebrews 4:14-16).
After paying the full price for our redemption, Jesus was raised from the dead by the Holy Spirit, so that you will never be alone again.
In Hebrews 13:5 the Lord said He would never leave you or forsake you. He is available to you all the time. Even in times when you feel alone, you can call out to God and know that He is right there with you. Even though you can't physically see Him, learn to rely upon His presence to fill any void or loneliness. |
