"Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine, you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation." Exodus 19:5,6.
God wants us to be a kingdom of priests, a people devoted to Him in worship, to become His vessels of glory like David and his army, to be His mediators on earth, and be His faithful servants to fulfill His will on earth, "But your hearts must be fully committed to the LORD our God, to live by his decrees and obey his commands, as at this time." 1 Kings 8:61.
There is a chosen time for a chosen generation, a kingdom of priests, to be glorified by God to fill the earth with His glory, "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." 1 Peter 2:9-10, NKJV.
As darkness invades our world we must as a kingdom of priests, "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon you and his glory appears over you." Isaiah 60:1-2. This is a great opportunity to serve God in His great outpouring of love and glory. Now is the time of God's favor and great salvation of our world.
Kingdom Declaration:
I thank God for the privilege and opportunity to be glorified to bring glory to the Name of Jesus.
