God is Sovereign

"No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." 1 Cor. 10:13

 

God is Sovereign. When it seems that your world is suddenly being turned upside down remember that God is not surprised, nervous, or worried about the outcome. God our King is Sovereign. You can remind yourself of many who have been there and done that, and lived to prove that God is stronger than their enemies, greater than their circumstances, and more powerful than the powers that they face.

 

Here are some tips in times of crises:

1) Do not allow your challenge to be greater than your faith in the power of God.

2) Exalt God regardless of how you feel, what you hear, and what you see.

3) Rule your world - your thoughts, speech, and actions.

4) See yourself beyond your present and in the future.

5) Remember that God in you, for you, and with you is greater than whatever or whoever is against you. "You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." 1 John 4:4.

 

With God you can confidently declare: "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Rom. 8:28. Your Sovereign God is in control of your life when you ask Him.

 

Kingdom Declaration:

God reigns supreme in every area of my life. I will not live by fear.
