Jesus Christ describes Himself(December 8)

Jesus Christ describes Himself
"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."  Revelation 22:16.

Throughout the Bible there have been many names and titles associated with Jesus Christ such as Savior; Emmanuel; Son of the Highest; Faithful and True; Alpha and Omega; Messiah; King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  To His Church Jesus described Himself as, "The Root and Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star."

It is therefore important for us to understand the grace, mercy, and glory that operated in the life of David. For example, David committed great sins and yet the grace of God forgave him of them all; David was homeless in a cave and yet the grace of God eventually gave him a palace; David went through family problems with his wife and children and yet the grace of God preserved him and blessed him in the family of the Kingdom of God forever; David went through many battles and yet the grace of God gave him victory again and again; David faced giants of fear and yet the grace of God gave him overcoming power; David went through times of great loss and poverty and yet the grace of God gave him wealth.

The grace of David is now upon believers in Jesus Christ.  In his psalm David described the grace, mercy and glory that operated in his life: "Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things.  In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all." 1 Chronicles 29:12.  This grace can be summed up in the word, "CHAYIL" and this grace of CHAYIL can be yours as you pray, believe, and receive.

Kingdom Declaration:
The grace of CHAYIL is upon me for God's manifested glory to be seen in and through me.
