You are chosen by God By Dr Pat Francis

You are chosen by God
"For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will."  (Eph. 1:4,5).

I heard the story a little orphan named Mary who had a mark in her face and was often called 'ugly' by the other children in the orphanage.  Visitors would come looking for children to adopt but this little orphan would always stand in a corner at the back knowing that no one would choose her. One day a missionary couple that had been praying for a special child came to the orphanage.  All the good-looking children were paraded before them. The workers did not even bother to dress up 'ugly, Mary'.  The missionary looked at the back in the corner and saw a sad little girl, looking with big sad eyes at her.  She walked over to her and said to Mary, "Would you like to be my daughter, you are such a special child.  I choose you if you would accept me."  Mary that day was chosen and adopted in a home filled with love.

God is looking for imperfect people to adopt into His family. "For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name." (Eph. 3:14-15). To God you are not just 'one in billions' of people. To God your Creator and Savior you are born with purpose, you are born with gifts, talents, and abilities that make you special and with a special purpose in His Kingdom.  You are loved and chosen for the family of God by God who proudly calls you His child and rejoices when you call Him Father.

Kingdom Declaration:
I am chosen to be a part of the Royal Family of God.  I am privileged and powerful.
