Put Your Confidence in God(August 11)

Put your confidence in God
"This is what the Lord says - your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: 'I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.'"  Isaiah 48:17.

True confidence comes in knowing that God, who knows what is best for you, is willing to teach you and direct you in the path of your success and destiny.  Trusting in God's character will make you confident in His power in you, for you and possibilities through you.  Confidence may be described as the quality or state of being certain.  You can be confident in God.

Here are some attributes of God:
1)  He is omniscient. God knows all and therefore knows the future; sees around the bend; and is ahead of you preparing for you.
2)  He is omnipotent. God is almighty and without limitations.  He is powerful and therefore quite able to protect and preserve you as you follow His path.
3)  He is omnipresent. God is Ever-present, He is everywhere and therefore will never leave you nor forsake you.

Franklin D. Roosevelt says: "Confidence... thrives on honesty, on honor, on the sacredness of obligations, on faithful protection and on unselfish performance.  Without them it cannot live." Put your confidence in God who is working for you and with you.  With God as your Source, you can also be confident in yourself as you step into a season of new possibilities.  "So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded." Hebrew 10:35.

Kingdom Declaration:
My confidence is in God who works in me, for me and through me for my highest calling.
