Your eternal destiny By Dr Pat Francis

I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints." (Ephesians 1:18).

You have an eternal destiny and a glorious inheritance. You are born and is alive for such a time as this. It is exciting and encouraging for you to know that God has a plan for your life.  You were not born as an accident but by God's intent.  There is something powerful in you that is called your "Eternal Destiny".  Before you were in your mother's womb, you were in the heart of God.

Paul describes the Glory of your Eternal Destiny:
1) It is a blessed hope.  Hope is one of the greatest commodities that people are searching for and longing for.  In a world filled with bad news and with superpowers struggling for solutions, hopelessness is a part of the sickness in our world. "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life." (Proverbs 13:12). You have a message of hope: "Jesus Christ is the Savior and Solution of our world."
2) It is a glorious inheritance in you. God works in you to work for you and through you for His good purpose. Your Eternal Destiny will bring glory to God now and forever.
3) It is powerful, mighty, and strong. Your eternal destiny is more powerful than anything the enemy brings in attempt to destroy you.  God's mighty strength is your protection for your sake and for His Kingdom's sake.

You are born and is alive for such a time as this.

Kingdom Declaration:
My Eternal Destiny is more powerful than my enemies.  To God be all the glory.

Condemnation is a liar By Dr Pat Francis

"This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us.  For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything."  (1 John 3:19,20).

We must fight the fight of faith in our minds. The battle begins when our thoughts try to overpower the truth of what God's Word says about us and what He says belong to us. Believing in God's word as our ultimate truth is the key to being set free from all the lies of the enemy.  You have the power of CHOICE to make a decision to believe in God's truth more than the devil's lies.

Truths from GOD:
1) You have abundant life as a gift from Jesus your Savior. (John 10:10).
2) Christ in you is your Hope of Glory. (Colossians 1:20)
3) God's plan is to prosper you, protect you, and to give you a bright future.
(Jeremiah 29:11)
4) You will grow in ever-increasing glory. (2 Corinthians 3:18)
5) You are fearfully and wonderfully made. (Psalm 139:14)
6) God has bestowed upon you favor and honor. (Psalm 84:11)
7) No weapons or evil plans that are formed against you will prosper. (Isaiah 54:17)

Believe the truth, speak the truth, and receive God's truth as your reality.

Kingdom Declaration:
I believe what God says about me and I receive what He has for me.

Jesus is praying for you by Dr Pat Francis

"Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has gone through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are - yet was without sin." (Hebrews 4:14,15).

Jesus was misunderstood by His family; betrayed by His friend; forsaken by His disciples; deserted by His supporters and crucified by the world.  Jesus can sympathize with us as we go through life with all its challenges, disappointments, and human inadequacies. Not only does He understand but He is continuously praying for us and praying us through each circumstance.

Sympathy is good, but Jesus did more than that: He became weak so that we can be strong; He was cursed so that we can be blessed; He took our sickness so that we can be healed; He was bound so that we can be free; and He died so that we can have eternal life.

If that was not enough, He is always saving us; helping us; preserving us, and providing for us in times of crisis. "Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. (Hebrews 7:25). Jesus is praying for you; believing with you; standing with you; and fighting for you.

Kingdom Declaration:
I am never alone, never without covering praying, and never without my King of Glory with me.

Triumphing over temptation by Dr Pat Francis

"Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted." (Hebrews 2:18).

Temptation comes as an enticement, seduction, and a lure that aims to keep us from a decisive path or the best decision.  There is the temptation to give up after discouragement; to give in to the fear of people; to accept compromise as a way of life; to choose willful blindness in the face of truth; and to give up just before the breakthrough.

Jesus showed us how to triumph over temptation:
1) He gathered a trusted team of faithful people to support Him in his critical time, "He took Peter, James and John along with him, and he began to be deeply distressed and troubled." (Mark 14:33).
2) He prayed earnestly and honestly to His Heavenly Father, "Abba, Father, everything is possible for you. Take this cup from me. Yet not what I will, but what you will."    (Mark 14:36).
3) He prayed by faith saying, "Everything is possible for you". (Mark 14:36)
4) He submitted to His Father's will and not His human emotions, "Yet not what I will, but what you will."
5) His prayer released angelic help, "An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him."  (Luke 22:43).
6) He rose from the place of prayer confident and safe in His Father's control.
7) He subdued the devil and won the battle in His mind, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."  (James 4:7).

Now us. "With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies." (Psalm 60:12).

Kingdom Declaration:
The victory belongs to Jesus and His victory belongs to me.

Read the Bible in One Year: Isaiah 11-13; Ephesians 4.
