"But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things, will be given to you as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." (Matt. 6:33,34).
Worry is a waste. It is a waste of energy, time, passion, and imagination. Worry is worthless work. Worry cannot change or rearrange things. Worry captivates and consumes the mind. It is a stealer of time and thought. It creates fear and destroys faith. Jesus encourages and commands us not to worry about 'things' such as: provision, money, clothes, house, possession and what will happen tomorrow. He told us not to be obsessed with 'things' or be stressed out about 'things'.
Remember that 'things' are only temporary possessions. You did not bring anything in this world and you certainly cannot take anything with you when you die. You will leave everything behind, so maintain a right perspective when the temptation comes to worry about 'things'. Live with God as your Source and Helper in all areas of your life. Live wisely, work diligently, pray consistently, serve God faithfully, and God will be your Provider of all good 'things'. With God as your priority in life, your provision and protection is secure. "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Phil. 4:19). God remains faithful to provide and protect you.
Kingdom Declaration:
I thank God for my today and I leave my tomorrow in His hands.
