God is unchanging

"Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people both now and forevermore." Ps. 125:1-2.

For the next few days let us meditate on the character of God.
Our security lies in His nature, attributes, character, and might. Who God is and what He can do is the confidence for our faith. In a world of revolving crisis, God remains unchanging. His Word says that if we trust in the LORD we shall be like Mount Zion: immovable, strong, powerful, greater than our problems, and secure.

The Psalmist describes Mount Zion: "God is in her citadels; he has shown himself to be her fortress. When the kings joined forces, when they advanced together, they saw [her] and were astounded; they fled in terror." Ps. 48:3-5. When enemies see that God is with you and for you, the fear will be on their side not yours. God with you is greater than whoever and whatever can come against you. God is unchanging. What He did before He will do again.

As you trust in the LORD your strength shall be as Mount Zion that cannot be shaken and you will outlive and outlast your enemies. In God's Kingdom we do not live by luck nor by chance, but by His unchanging grace and power to deliver, protect, and provide for us. God is and always will be. This makes us secure and confident in His amazing grace.

Kingdom Declaration:
I am secure in God's love and power to protect and to provide for me.
