Impossibilities are possible

"When He had gone indoors, the blind men came to Him, and He asked them, 'Do you believe that I am able to do this?'  'Yes, Lord,' they replied. Then he touched their eyes and said, 'According to your faith will it be done to you,' and their sight was restored."  (Matthew 9:28-30).   The blind men had a need that required a miracle.  When the need in your life is not ordinary, you need God.  Being blind from birth, you would think that grown men would have given up and saw themselves blind for life. But these men lived with an attitude of hope knowing that with each day comes new opportunities for blessing.    Oddly enough, Jesus placed the responsibility and results of the miracle on them; 'According to your faith will it be done to you.'  They had to ask believing that Jesus would heal them. God's responsibility was to perform the miracle according to their faith.    Heaven with all its glory is waiting to release miracles to hearts with faith. Whether you are believing for yourself or for others, faith is the key to draw miracles from the Kingdom of God. "What is impossible with men is possible with God." (Luke 18:27). Jesus, our Gentle Shepherd

"He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young." (Isaiah 40:11).   Jesus calls Himself the Good Shepherd and His gentleness, protective patience, and loving kindness is always towards His people. Jesus is not only our good Shepherd but He is our Savior-Shepherd, "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep." John 10:11. Jesus died on the cross to save us all from sins, failure, and eternal death.   As our Savior-Shepherd Jesus will: 1) Save you. He will save you, your family, and all that concerns you, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved - you and your household." Acts 16:31. 2) Protect you. Sheep are not the smartest of animals and are sometimes unaware of danger.  Driven by thirst they could go into dangerous rivers; go towards dangerous animals; and walk over a cliff thinking it is safe. Jesus who knows all, will protect you, "Because he loves me," says the LORD, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name." (Psalm 91:14). 3) Provide for you. Sheep has needs such as food, water, shelter, medicine, and care.  One of the names of God is Provider, "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19).  4) Guide you. Guidance is needed at all ages and stages of life, "For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end." Live at peace

"If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord."  (Romans 12:18,19).   When you find yourself in a position of strife, unfairness, or a deliberate plan to destroy you, turn over the battle to God.   1)  Maintain your peace.  Peace is a gift from God to you.  "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27). Your peace is not dependent on circumstances or external stimuli but on the Gift of Peace within you.  2) Stand in faith. It is better for God to deal with your enemies. He has volunteered so why not allow Him.  His ways are greater and much more effective.  3) Keep doing good.  "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."  (Romans 12:21). There is no guarantee that everyone will like you. There is no promise that all relationships will be preserved.  You do your part and let God fight your battle.    Stay strong, be wise, and live in peace, as far as it depends on you.  You cannot choose for others so rest in your choice to 'Live in peace' because God is watching.   Kingdom Declaration: I choose to live in peace and to let peace rule my heart as I rule my world.   @Dr Pat Francis @chayil$

Worship the Lord your God

"Again, the devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.  'All this I will give You,' he said, 'if you will bow down and worship me.'  Jesus said to him, 'Away from me Satan!  For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.'"  Matthew 4:8-10.   There is always the temptation to obtain wealth, promotion, relationships, and to get ahead in life by 'bowing down' (compromising and disregarding good values or God's principles).  We seek riches at the risk of respect; wealth at the risk of wisdom; promotion at the risk of peace.    The name of the game is, 'What ever feels good, do it'. We say there is no God so that we can worship ourselves without competition. We sacrifice and serve the unknown God - 'the god of this world' who blinds and leads the world astray.  We are under his control without even knowing it, because by resisting the One and only true God, we serve the enemy by default.   Satan has power but his power is limited.  He took Jesus to the edge of the mountain but he could not to push Him off. He showed Jesus all the kingdoms and wealth of this world but could not bribe Him.  He tempted Jesus with bread but could not control Him.  Satan's power is limited in your life.  "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." John 16:33. Jesus with you is greater than the enemy.    Kingdom Declaration: God has given me the strength to rule my world for unlimited favor from God. @Dr Pat Francis @chayil$
