"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." John 14:27.
God's encouragement is also a command. "Do not let your heart be troubled (attacked by turbulent waves of worry, negative stress, and unresolved issues that eats away at your heart and robs you of life and joy)." This is an awareness of the power of choice within you.
Whatever comes your way, you can choose to deflect and protect your heart from hurt, tormenting memories, and fears. Peace is God's gift to you when you choose Him as your personal Savior. He came into your heart with the light of His love and the power of His peace.
Fear torments, controls, steals faith, and releases guilt. Fear robs peace and releases anxiety. Along with God's encouragement comes His help and comfort. He is your Comforter, Helper, and Peace. Purpose in your heart that you will not be controlled by worry and fear. Choose to keep God's peace as the anchor for your soul. God remains sovereign over all the affairs of your life so "do not let (allow) your heart to be troubled or afraid."
Kingdom Declaration:
I will live by faith and not by fear as I remain anchored in my Kingdom of Peace.
