Be strong and never give up

"Watch out that you do not lose what you have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully."      2 John 8.

When the going gets tough, don't give up.  A challenge is an opportunity to break another barrier, cross, hurdle, and to win another crown. Athletes move from strength to strength by breaking new barriers of endurance. The darkest hour is just before dawn.  So many people give up just before their breakthrough.

Mary Kay Cosmetics was named by Fortune Magazine as one of the Ten Best Companies for Women and one of the 100 best companies to work for in America. Her success and fame came because she overcame many obstacles, discouragements, and life's battles.  Soon after she started school, her father became ill.  Her mother worked 14-hour days as a restaurant manager to support the family.  Mary Kay had to do housework, cook, and take care of her father by herself.  In her career, she experienced opposition because she was a woman but she turned each lemon that life handed her into lemonade.

She persisted in her pursuit and developed Mary Kay Cosmetic, a very prosperous company with a sales and marketing strategy that helped hundreds of thousands of women to become entrepreneurs.  Her motto was, "God first, family second, career third."  When she died in 2001, she had 800,000 independent beauty consultants in 37 countries with annual sales over $2 billion.

She once said, "My goal is to live my life in such a way that when I die, someone can say, she cared".  And Mary Kay did.  God's word for you today: "But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded." 2 Chronicles 15:7.  Keep in the race and God will be your Coach, Strength, and Promoter all the way.
