Bastian Schweinsteiger named in Manchester United's Premier League squad

Manchester United have named Bastian Schweinsteiger in their Premier League squad for the 2016/17 season.

The former Germany captain had been deemed surplus to requirements by manager Jose Mourinho and forced to train away from the first team.

Schweinsteiger was free to leave Old Trafford prior to Wednesday's transfer deadline, but he stated his desire to stay at United rather than joining another European club and a move failed to materialise.

An emotional Schweinsteiger played his final international game in Germany's 2-0 friendly win over Finland in Monchengladbach on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old made his Germany debut in June 2004 and ended his international career with 121 caps and 24 goals.

Bastian Schweinsteiger has played his final game for Germany

Mourinho said last week it would be "very difficult" but not impossible for Schweinsteiger to feature under him for United this season.

Former Salford City player Sadiq El-Fitouri is also listed in United's squad. The 21-year-old defender was signed after Phil Neville and Paul Scholes recommended him to reserve team coach Warren Joyce.

Our world is crying

"The LORD said, "I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering. So I have come down to rescue them......." Exodus 3:7,8. God created our world as a paradise without sin, sickness, poverty, corruption, perversion, violence, and fear.  He created Adam and Eve and blessed them to procreate a family, develop and co-rule the world with Him as Sovereign King. With the power of choice, unfortunately, they chose to disobey God's counsel to avoid evil, resulting in violence and sorrow in their lives. The cries of Adam and Eve (parents) as they buried their murdered son (Abel), is growing louder in our world today as God is still being denied, ridiculed, and despised. Parents, young people, children, victims, hurting, hopeless, and powerless people (rich and poor) are crying.  "We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time." Romans 8:22.   Jesus described the difference between His purpose and the purpose of Satan, "The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give life in all its fullness." John 10:10, NLT.  We live in a world where the root and fruit of evil is being seen, felt, and experienced.  We are crying for salvation and God has heard our cries, seen our misery and has come down in a move of God to save our world. "At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near." Luke 21:26-28. This is a season of hope for our world; peace for troubled hearts; and freedom for everyone. "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." You will see The Glory Of God

You will SEE the Glory of God

"Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would SEE the glory of God?" John 11:40.   David grew from an ordinary shepherd to become the greatest King of Israel.  His fame started when he volunteered to fight a giant called Goliath who terrorized and paralyzed the Israelis army for forty days. David did not have the weapons of trained soldiers, he did not have the support of anyone who believed in him, and he had no protective physical armor. But he had the power and great glory of His King of Glory. "Through the victories you gave (David), his glory is great; you have bestowed on him splendor and majesty." Psalm 21:5. David killed Goliath with a sling and a stone.   David's weapons of successful warfare were spiritual and not physical because the real enemy of Israel were spiritual and demonic. David's weapons included: 1) Faith, in his King of Glory; 2) Worship, to summon the Presence and Power of GOD; 3) His Spiritual Armor of God; 4) The Sword of the Spirit which is the word of God.  Now we have the spiritual weapons of David, and in addition we have the Name of Jesus, the Blood of Jesus, and the Armor of Jesus Christ.   Now in our world we have a cause worth fighting for, as billions of people are being terrorized by fear; destroyed by violence; subdued by poverty; deceived and dying without the love and salvation of Jesus Christ, son of David. The glory of the LORD Jesus Christ shall be seen in and through His believing servants of His mission to save the world.
