"I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.' Surely He will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence." Ps. 91: 2,3.
I read the story of a painting that showed the devil at a chessboard with a young man. The devil had just made his move, and the canvass shows the young man with his queen checkmated. For a time that picture hung; and no one was ever able to make an encouraging comment upon it until one day Paul Morphy, the great chess genius, was brought to see it. He stood there studying the picture and then, as if speaking to the young man who was defeated by the devil, he cried out, "There's your move, young man!"
There is always a move to take you out of the devil's trap when you call on Jesus Christ, the Great Savior of the world. In case you are trapped in life's game without knowing what to do, your next move is this, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Rom. 10:13.
When you believe in Jesus Christ and call on His Name, you have taken your move to begin your victory. In His Name you have His victory, His host of Angels to fight for you, His ministering Angels to provide for you, His armor to protect and defend you, and His mercy to mediate for you.
Here is the enemy's future: "And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever." Rev. 20:10. Jesus won the salvation for all mankind. He lives forever as the victorious Savior of the world, King of Glory, and the King of kings and Lord of Lords. Trust in Him and you will be saved.
Kingdom Declaration:
